Who We Are

Countryside Lodge of Harrison is a Community Support System Provider (CSSP) offering community-based services for adults aged 21 and older living with serious mental illness and intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Located in the peaceful countryside of Harrison, Arkansas, our lodge draws on the grounding qualities of rural life to promote stability, independence, and personal growth.

Diagnoses Served

We specialize in supporting individuals with but not limited to:

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Schizoaffective Disorder

Services We Provide

All services are tailored to individual needs and delivered in alignment with treatment goals and support plans:

  • Life Skills Development

  • Medication Support

  • Behavioral Support & Stability

  • Community Integration

  • Person-Centered Planning

  • Coordination with Medical & Behavioral Health Providers

  • Individual Counseling

  • Group Therapy

  • 24-Hour Supervision


Disqualifying Factors

Countryside Lodge may not be appropriate for individuals who:

  • Require skilled nursing care

  • Present immediate danger to self or others

  • Require sex offender registration

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age 21 or older

  • Arkansas resident

  • Serious mental illness or IDD diagnosis

  • Optum Behavioral Health Independent Assessment

  • Medicaid (PASSE) approval

  • Disability benefits in place


Submit a Referral

To determine program fit, referral sources should submit:

  • Psychiatric Evaluation

  • Medication List

  • Progress Notes

  • History & Physical

  • Release of Information

  • Court or Guardianship Documents (if applicable)

Referral Criteria

Our program is ideal for individuals who benefit from structured community-based support and are working toward increased independence.
